چکیده
Seven species new to science are described, illustrated and compared with closely related taxa. Of them, one species, i.e.: Coppinsidea vernadskiensis S. Y. Kondr., T. O. Kondratiuk et I. Yu. Parnikoza is from the Argentine Islands, Western Maritime Antarctic Peninsula, Jacke lixia hosseussii L. Lőkös J.-S. Hur, South America (Argentina Uruguay), Loekoeslaszloa reducta Yoshik. Yamam. Kondr. Eastern Asia (Japan), Orientophila viticola Hur (South Korea), Ovealmbornia ovei Lőkös, Kärnefelt A. Thell, Xanthokarrooa elsiae Thell Africa, as well Oxneria imshaugii North America. The combination Jackelixia australis (for Xanthoria parietina var. Zahlbr.) proposed. for first time recorded host lichenicolous fungus Arthonia anjutii Alstrup. latter Intralichen christiansenii (D. Hawksw.) D. Hawksw. Cole Korea.

Cryptic species in lichen-forming fungi
This contribution provides a synopsis of the presentations and discussions during the SIG session on cryptic speciation in lichen-forming fungi held during IMC9. In several cases, a re-examination of morphology against the background of molecular phylogenetic evidence revealed, sometimes subtle, morphological and/or chemical characters, supporting the distinction of particular clades at species...
متن کاملNew or otherwise interesting lichenized and lichenicolous fungi from Montenegro.
A list of 256 taxa of lichens (252 species) and 2 species of lichenicolous fungi from Montenegro is presented, including 58 taxa (57 species) new to Montenegro. The list is based on specimens kept in the lichen collections of the herbaria GZU, H, Podgorica, and in the private herbarium of Klaus Kalb, and on recent field work in various parts of the country. The genera Biatoridium, Carbonea, Cer...
متن کاملFungal Diversity Freshwater and marine lichen-forming fungi
Lichen-forming fungi can occur on river and lake margins subjected to varying water levels, and on tidal coastal rocks where they can constitute major components of the biota. There are approximately 700 species known from coastal rocks and 200 from freshwater river and lake margins. Most cannot survive constant immersion although there are exceptions. Some species are only exposed at the lowes...
متن کاملPlant Hormones Promote Growth in Lichen-Forming Fungi
The effect of plant hormones on the growth of lichen-forming fungi (LFF) was evaluated. The use of 2,3,5-triiodobenzoic acid and indole-3-butyric acid resulted in a 99% and 57% increase in dry weight of the lichen-forming fungus Nephromopsis ornata. The results suggest that some plant hormones can be used as inducers or stimulators of LFF growth for large-scale culture.
